The Defendant was traveling in the opposite direction on Derry Road when he crossed the center lane and crashed into the Plaintiff head on. According to the Defendant the roads were wet with spray from other vehicles as well as fog affecting his vision. MOTOR VEHICLE - PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT ROCHESTER NH
This unfortunate accident occurred while the Pedestrian was crossing North Main Street in Rochester, New Hampshire on January 2, 2009. At the time of impact she was within the crosswalk, having come from the side of the street opposite to the Defendant’s lane of travel. It was not yet dark and area is reasonably well lit by street lights and a pizza restaurant located almost directly at the end of the cross walk. There were no obstructions to view as the vehicle approached the point of impact.
